Our farm is located approximately half way between Monroe, WI and Argyle, WI. Below are driving instructions varied according to approach from any of 3 directions. These use the state and Green county highways. If you're good with back roads you might be able to save a couple miles. In that case we'll leave the maps to you. Our street address is: N4448 Jordan Center Road Argyle, WI, 53504. When coming from the north or east (e.g. thru Madison or Chicago): Step 1: Use State Highway 81 from Monroe, WI west toward Argyle. Go approximately 6.5 miles to Jordan Center Road. This is not exactly an intersection. Jordan Center Road only goes north. (This is about 100 yards before Co M goes south. The Co M sign may help you.) Step 2: Turn north (right) on Jordan Center Road and go 0.7 miles to our driveway. Our farm is on the east side of the road (the right as you go north). The driveway has a pair of gates with big uprights. Drive on in and we'll show you our horses. When coming from the west (e.g. Prairie du Chen) Step 1: Come thru Argyle, WI, and take Hwy 81 east 6 miles to Jordan Center Road. This is just past the Jordan Township Garage and Co M. Step 2: Turn north (left for you) on Jordan Center Road and follow the rest of step 2 as above. When coming from the south or using Hwy 11 to cross WI from the west (e.g. Dubuque): Step 1: Stay on Hwy 11 thru Browntown. At the east edge of town Green Co M goes north. Turn north (left) and drive 'til you reach Hwy 81, about 7 miles. Turn east (right) on Hwy 81 and go about 100 yards to Jordan Center Road. Step 2: Turn north (left for you) on Jordan Center Rd and follow the rest of step 2 as above. |
